We have been to many self catering places in Ballater and this is by far the best, The mix of cost, standard of accommodation and location is just right. A real home from home.

Great flat and location. We saved a lot of time as it’s so conveniently located. Clean and well maintained.

Our second visit to the comfortable, very convenient flat. Good weather again and plenty of mountain walking and Drum Castle very interesting. We again enjoyed bar meals at the Alexandra Hotel and takeaways from the fish and chip shop and meeting daughter from Aberdeen.

Good flat and location. Had some very enjoyable mountain walks. Saw lots of wildlife including some ptramigan, an adder and red squirrels.

Great flat, wonderful weather and walks, especially Loch Muick. Excellent meal at the Rowan Tree, just 2 mins walk away. Hope to return some day.

Had 2 weeks this time and done everything! Had a happy holiday, lots of lovely memories. And thanks for everything we need at the flat.

Very comfortable and convenient apartment, Left the rain behind in England and enjoyed some gloriously warm days here. We’d certainly recommend!

We have really enjoyed our stay here. Very nice accommodation and town – beautiful area to explore. The flat is excellent and very warm and comfortable particularly on the dull days, thank you.

Back in Scotland again for our annual visit to Deeside Gliding Club and Aboyne in search of "wave". Had some good flights with climbs to 12,000 feet. Great views but very cold (-13C!). Stayed in plenty of cottages over the years but this had to be the best for price/comfort/location etc, Great flat, hope to be back next year (and as it’s such a nice flat I’ll bring the wife!).
